Account Information

When you sign up for TropVPN, we collect your email address and payment information. This information is used solely for account management and billing purposes. We do not require your real name, phone number, or any other personal identification.

Connection Metadata

To maintain our service and ensure quality, we collect minimal connection metadata:

Connection timestamp (day, not time)
Server location used
Total bandwidth used (not content)

This data is aggregated across all users and cannot be used to identify individual users.

What We DON'T Collect

We never log:

Your browsing history
DNS queries
IP addresses (yours or destinations)
Connection timestamps (time of day)
Any data content

2. How We Protect Your Data

Encryption

All TropVPN connections are protected with AES-256-GCM encryption, considered military-grade and unbreakable with current technology. We support the latest protocols including WireGuard and OpenVPN.

RAM-Only Servers

Our entire server network runs on RAM-only servers. This means no data is ever written to physical hard drives, and all information is wiped every time a server restarts. It's physically impossible for us to keep logs.

Perfect Forward Secrecy

Each session uses a unique encryption key. Even if a key is compromised, it cannot be used to decrypt past or future sessions.

Payments are processed by Stripe and CoinPayments. We never store your full credit card details.

We use privacy-focused analytics that don't track individual users or store personal data.

6. Legal Compliance

TropVPN operates under the jurisdiction of the British Virgin Islands, which has no mandatory data retention laws. We have never and will never:

Log user activity or connection data
Respond to requests for user data (we have none to share)
Install backdoors in our software
Partner with intelligence agencies

Because our infrastructure is designed to not collect or store logs, it's technically impossible for us to comply with data requests—we don't have the data to provide.
